Palacinos is the
place of three neighbours; it has a factory every three
years. Of three and a half coat of wheat barley and
spend more than it has.

About Palacinos
The first inhabitants of Palacinos
and its region were in the times of the Roman and visigothic
occupation.
The legend tells that in the XII century Palacinos belonged
to Palacios del Azobispo, time when the king Alfonso
II gave some goods in inheritance to the archbishop
of Santiago de Compostela, with some properties from
the north of Ledesma.
Later on it was the scene of the disputes of the swarm
of the dragons of the French army.
Palacinos is a small village of 14 neighbours, of the
near village Añover de Tormes, placed in the
district of Ledesma and registered in the zone of Arrives
del Duero, almost depopulated. The few neighbours, retired,
or people dedicated to work in the fields receive hospitably
the foreign people who is looking for a happy stay in
a true village.
About the house
The old people from the place
used to say that La Solana del Abuelo belonged in the
XVIII to a family called “the silver lips”
and with the pass of the time passed to the “grandfather
Pedro”. In this house he was born and lived spending
long whiles of his old age in the sunny places of the
house.
Nowadays this house offers the privilege of share its
traditional way of life and let you enjoy its authenticity
in an unforgettable short trip of rural tourism.
